BIG FLATS, NY – Stan’s NoTubes is proud to announce the third season of their Elite Cyclocross Team. Member and team manager Shannon Gibson (Durango, Colo.) is joined by her NoTubes Women’s Elite teammates Amanda Carey (Victor, Idaho) and Mical Dyck (Victoria, BC). Kenny Wehn (Durango, Colo.) and Jake Wells (Avon, Colo.) are back for another season and round out the cyclocross team. They will be supported by mechanic Chris George.
With a team comprised of the defending Canadian Elite National Champion, a 2013 UCI Cyclocross podium finisher, a former Masters World Champion and current Masters National Champion, a top 10 Masters Worlds finisher, and two-time Masters Nationals podium finisher, the NoTubes Elite Cyclocross Team is poised for a successful season.
The season is well underway, with Mical Dyck already on the podium at StarCrossed, the full team in attendance at CrossVegas on Sept. 18, and Jake Wells accompanied by Kenny Wehn invited to and attending China’s first ever UCI Cyclocross race. With support on both East and West coasts, the Team will be spread across the country competing at a number of races highlighting the NoTubes sponsored NEPCX Series. Further West, the Boulder Cup, SpookyCross, JingleCross and Deschutes Brewery Cup in Bend to name a few. Mical Dyck will defend her title at the Canadian National Championships in November. The season finished with USA National Championships in Boulder, Colo. followed by the UCI Elite World Championships in the Netherlands.
